Acas publish updated guidance on gender reassignment discrimination

Acas has published updated guidance on gender reassignment discrimination. The guidance, which as well as stating the law, also provides examples of what might amount to discrimination, harassment and victimisation on the grounds of the protected characteristic of gender reassignment, runs to 11 pages in its downloadable pdf format. The 29 October 2024 guidance replaces Acas’ now archived October 2017 33-page key points for workplaces guidance on gender reassignment discrimination which is available on the National Archive website.
